Also, don’t forget: A good market will not save a bad host. You may have the highest average daily rates and best occupants statistics in the country, but if your place is strangely smelling, there are blurred pictures, or guests are opening the wrong door at midnight, it’s going to flop. This business combines real estate investment and hospitality. You have found it to behave like both.
And if you are planning to rent a co-genre from the beginning, it’s fine, but I still recommend managing your first property myself, even if it is just for a few months. You will learn what works, and what systems you need before handing over the keys to someone else.
