Lahore:
In Punjab, the amount of unpaid loans has increased under its home schedule, loan will be provided to 5 lakh families by 2028.
The decision was taken in an important meeting chaired by Secretary Housing Nurulamin Mengal. DG Fata, Alexander Zeshan has given a briefing on progress so far in the program.
Nurulamin Mengal said that so far more than 60,000 families have been provided loans, so far, 1.5 million applications have been received under their home schedule.
He said that the target of providing loans in the year 2024-25 was 47,000, with 4000 additional families provided loans. In the year 2024-25, more than 51,000 families were provided loans for the construction of houses.
Secretary Housing said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, a provision of unilateral loan is going on. Meeting with new landlords is a clear achievement of his face happiness and satisfaction.
