Senior Sindh Senior Minister Sharjel Amiz Memon has said that the yellow line is a strategic and visionary project of BRT Karachi, which aims to provide rapid, cheap and safe travel facilities to people.
The high -level delegation of the World Bank visited the Yellow Line BRT Project and the ongoing construction work near the site office of Jam Sadiq Bridge. On the occasion, Sharjil Memon gave the delegation a detailed briefing on the yellow line BRT.

Sharjil Award Memon said that the project would cover Korangi Industrial Area and Landhi from Norjahan’s highway, which will benefit millions of people daily.
He said that the yellow line will not only improve the movement of citizens, but will also promote economic activities. We want the project to be fulfilled according to world -class, facilities are being made like global cities.
Sharjil Award Memon said, “We want only electric buses in the yellow line BRT so that the project is completely environmentally friendly, we have introduced EV buses and punk bus service for women for the first time in Pakistan, which is now running successfully, EV buses will reduce environmental pollution, will save fuel costs.”
“We are bringing an EV scooter scheme to empower women,” he said. So far more than 8,000 women have applied, a food chain company is also working with us in training to fully prepare women, it is not just transportation, it is the basis of social revolution.
Sharjil Memon said that work is also going on on Karachi Circular Railway and Karachi to Sukkur High Speed Rail Project. We have established special economic sectors to promote investment where investors have been taxed for ten years, the value of the dollar is due to the increase in the cost of the government.
