Luke Liller claimed the final of his Maden Betfrave World Match play and completed the ‘Triple Crown’ with a 18-13 victory against James Wade in the Black Pool.
Liller broke the record of at least 180s in the history of the tournament during a thrilling final, fired 107.24 average, and broke the record of the maximum of 180s.
The 18 -year -old bounced back from flowing into the opening mini -session to win nine of the next 11 feet, Liller pulled further until Wade won the back legs to reduce the deficit.

“There have been clearly a few times in the past where I brought myself back to the game, but last week I really shown me as a player. It has shown that I can come back from 5-0, I can come back from 7-3 and I’m glad to win.
“I came here last year, the first round was defeated and some people thought I was probably lost again. I’m just happy that I can get myself out of these score lines. But I don’t want to be below 5-0 again!”
