James Wade claims that he is’ one of the biggest darts ever players’ ‘in the Betred World Match play on Saturday before his semi -final show down on Jonny Clayton.

On Thursday evening, the Wade surrounded eight straight legs on the route against Jane Van Wayne by 16-13, and won the ninth seed in the last four for the second consecutive year.

The British are chasing another Blackpool honor, in which 18 years later, Terry Jenkins have been defeated by the victory in the Winter Gardens, in which Wade created some of his career darts and challenged more TV titles.

James Wade has come from behind after a poor start against Jian Van Wayne to seal eight legs in his quarter -finals collision.

When he was asked what he kept below his longevity, Wade said in his press conference: “You will never hear me saying this, but I am sure I am one of the biggest dart players ever to walk on the planet.”

Wade added: “I am probably one of the best players who have been walking on the planet in the last 20 years. It doesn’t matter what I say, is that?

“If you can make the past 12 months, the quarter -finals, the semi -finals, the final, if it was probably the other player, you [the media] Maybe everyone would have talked so much [about Wade].

“All I can say, for 20 years, what I have done. Everyone forgets, I know, Kalf Lazarnico, all the boys from the beginning where we are now, have played.

“I am really, really grateful and I’m really lucky to have played a share and where it is now in getting darts.

Wade has won the TV title in three decades, with the Premier League in the World Match Play, the World Grand Fairy (twice), the UK Open (three times) and an excellent career.

Jonny Clayton reacted to his flight performance against Stephen Bunting in the quarter -finals of the World Match play in the Black Pool.

The ‘machine’ is in the 10th World Match semi -finals and is facing 2023 runner Up Cleatton, who believes that he deserves its place between great places of video darts and will offer a difficult challenge.

“One hundred percent – look at the record that the boy has prepared,” Clayton explained in his press conference. “What is that – maybe the third best star player, fourth, what has he done? You can’t remove it from it.

“This boy has done everything but has picked up the World Championship. I think of myself I got a huge game – he’s really playing well.

“He has got all the experience. I have got something, but there is nothing compared to James Wade, so I got a difficult thing. I am going out, I will enjoy it, I will try my best, and hopefully I’m here on Sunday.”
