World Championship of Legends: India refuses to play, Pakistan in final

The World Championship of Legends confirmed in a statement released on Wednesday that the cricket match between India Champion and Pakistan Champion had been canceled due to India’s return, resulting in the Pakistan Champions now reach the finals.

The semi -final match was to be played between Pakistan Championar and India Champions teams in Birmingham on Thursday.

The World Championship of Legends (WCL) said in a statement on its Instagram account, “We always believe in the power of sports – however, public spirit must always be respected.”

In particular, the statement referring to India’s return, said, “We respect Bharat Champion’s decision to withdraw from the half -final and we also respect the preparation of Pakistan Champion.”

One of the sponsors of the tournament, ‘Easy My Trump’ had already announced the separation of India and Pakistan from the half -finals.

Earlier, India Champion refused to play with Pakistan in a group match of tournament in the UK.

There has been tension between the two countries since the war between Pakistan and India in May.

The WCL says the match between India Champion and Pakistan Champion has been canceled.

As a result, the Pakistan Champion has now made its place in the final.

The second half -final of the event will be played between Australia and South Africa in Birmingham on Thursday.
