James Andrew McGann was arrested in conjunction with a couple’s murders during a hike in Den’s state park of Devil de l’Arkansas this weekend.
Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, was found dead on Saturday during the hike with their two daughters. The girls, aged seven and nine, were unharmed.
McGann, 28, was arrested on Wednesday at 4:57 p.m. in a springdale company, Arkansas. He was accused of two capital murder leaders, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Security.
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement: “No news can cure the huge damages to the Brink family during the crime of last weekend, but this announcement is comfort and comfort for our state. I am so proud of the police of the state of the arkansas, park guards, the application of local laws and other people who have not been working since weekend last to capture this suspect.
“I ask that the Arkansans lift prayers of thanks for the courageous men and women of the application of laws – and offer prayers of condolence to the victims of this horrible crime. That this is not an error – we do not tolerate violent crime in Arkansas. If you target the innocent people, the application of the law will hunt you.”
