Hyderabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th July 2025) Pro. Dr. Amjad Ali Aren, Vice Chancellor of GC University Hyderabad, Remors have been strongly denied about the shutdown or transfer of government college Kali Mori Hydabad. Considering such reports as baseless, Dr. Aren clarified that the college is neither closing nor going to any other place.
In his official statement, Dr. Aren emphasized that the University Act 2018 clearly ensures the continuous existence and functioning of the government college Kali Moribad. He said that he was personally met with Mr. Shahab Qamar Ansari, Secretary College Education Sindh, and also organized several online matings to ensure the smooth operation of the college.
In addition, he announced that another meeting with the regional director colleges Mustafa Kamal, on Monday, July 28, 2025, is scheduled to be held on its proposal for the plan of coordination painted on the mat.
Dr. Aren confirmed that the government college Kali Mori Hyderabad is active on the official entry portal of Sindh College Education Department. So far, 719 students have obtained admission in enrollment control for the first year (pre-medical and pre-medical and pre-engineering groups, and other intermediate levels.
He also assured that classes for the academic session 2025-26 will be scheduled for two first year and intermediate programs in August. “Alhamadulillah, all stakeholders are on board their comments and tasks of this historic college and are united,” he concluded.
