Varnam -6.6 Earthquake hits South Pacific near Samoa

Apia, (Urdupoint / Pakistan Point News / Wam – 25th July 2025) On Friday, the island nation of Samoa had a brilliant -6.6 earthquake in South Pacific, but no clear loss.

The US Geological Survey said the earthquake occurred in a depiction of 440 km (273 mi) 314 km (195 mi) in the south -west of the capital Apia.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Honolulu also evaluated that there was no threat to a tsunami.

Samoa sits on the “ring of fire”, an arc of earthquake defects around the Pacific
