New Delhi, (UNI): External Affairs Minister SJ Shankar once again confirmed that US President Donald Trump had no role in stopping India’s military action against Pakistan during Operation Sandur.
In response to a terrorist attack in Pahgam in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Mr. J. Shankar said that there was no talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump to stop military action. He said, “There was no telephone conversation between the two leaders between April 22 and April 16.”
The Foreign Minister dismissed the allegations of opposition to the failure of Indian diplomacy during Operation Sandur, saying that Indian diplomacy was in the right direction. He said that the BRICS summit condemned the terrorist attack. He said that BRICS has condemned terrorist attacks in Pahalgam and Cross -Bormer Terrorism, while a statement released at the BRICS summit after the Mumbai terror attack did not mention Cross -Boorr terrorism. Mr. J. Shankar said that Germany, France, Russia and the European Union have also condemned the terrorist attack.
Mr. J. Shankar said that the United Nations Security Council issued a statement on 25 April that condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack. He said that this happened when Pakistan was a member of the Security Council and India was out of the international organization.
The Foreign Minister praised the bravery of Indian soldiers during Operation Sandur and said that he completely destroyed the terrorist hideout in Bahwalpur and Muridke. He was a stronghold of terror in Pakistan. Not only this, many airports in Pakistan were also targeted. This operation was a major success in Sandur.
He said that the operation of the operation of Sindh should go to YouTube that the evidence should be found and after the terrorists are killed, they should look at their burial scenes. It will show what kind of action the Indian Army took.
Assuming that Pakistan and China have come close, Mr. J. Shankar said that both countries have come close, but have not come close in a day. Referring to the incidents during the Congress governments, he tried to say that the two countries already had close ties.
The Foreign Minister targeted former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and said that when Sindh Water Agreement was reached, he was more concerned about the farmers of Pakistan than Indian farmers. At that time, he said in the Lok Sabha that this water agreement would benefit the farmers of West Punjab, which was part of Pakistan.
Mr. J. Shankar yesterday praised the role of MPs in the party’s delegation, who went to various countries to clarify India’s position on Operation Sander. He said that the Indian delegation was sent to 33 countries, in which Shashi Tharoor, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Sanjay Jha, Spiya Sola and Mr. Kant Shinde and other MPs presented India’s approach better to the world.
