Unlock your ability to RWU, VC urges girls to get a reputed university joint

Rawalpindi, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th July 2025) Professor Dr. Anila Kamal, Rawalpindi Women’s University (RWU) founder Vice Chancellor, has been addressed to women students to unlock their capacity in their future.

She is reflected on her upcoming, which converted the institute into a thrilling women’s university from a struggling post graduate college. After studying the organization Dungar during his college days, Dr. Kamal personally commented in his role, appeared as the first VC of the university, crafting the five-yar vision plan, which Sheh proudly said that he was almost complete.

In a special thing with the app, the Vice Chancellor exposed the institute, which once set up a post graduate college for women in 1951, has turned into a vibration hub for women of the women’s university.

“When I join, the RDU had a minimum infrastructure, today, 97% of our faculty has PhD holders of top institutions, who make the backbone of our success”, he said.

Dr. Anila said that the university owns a strong administrative team and advanced facilities, including 12 state -of -the -art computer labs, a modern auditorium, and a zoology lab in Rawalpindi and Islamabad universities.

“We are determining the dilapidated classes and lecture halls to create a conductive environment for students,” Xi said.

For a question about educational development, the Vice Chancellor expanded the undergrade program from 11 to 15, launched 12 milefill programs in 2023, and introduced 10 PhD programs, focusing on areas like it.

He said, “We have made International compulsory and brought guest speakers to ensure practical performance for the students,” he said

Exposing steps to empower students as entrepreneurs. He said that under the National Action Scheme of the government, the main focus of the University of Women Empowerment Danagar remained the main focus.

Dr. Anila reported that many graduates are other jobs where they are under house arrest, aligning education with industry needs.

The VC insisted on empowering women students in a society where 20% of educated women join the workforce. Cooperation with Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry has disturbed industrial risks and opportunities for students to work.

He said, “We have considered competitions, job fair and intentions of research to make them confidential among students to take them in our professional career,” he said.

The Vice Chancellor said that the RWU is committed to the vision of women empowerment in accordance with the National Action Plan.

Exposing the international achievements of the university, Dr. Anila reported that the permanent membership of RDU in Silk Road Alliance, which reached, offers 19 counties to a fully funded exchange program, while collabobation with institutions such as universities. Technology Malaysia promoted research. She said that RWU is being selected as its member of the world’s first women’s university and has offered exchange program cooperation for her students.

He said that during his tenure as VC, RWU hosted six international conferences with 80% national and international participation despite funding challenges.

The success story does not end here, the university has closed several awards and won medals in various sports and other additional events.

“Our students excelled in competitions like Punjab HEC program, crossed the engineering faculty,” she said.

The Vice Chancellor proudly shared that the blind student of RDU was selected for the national blind cricket team which represented the university in Australia.

On financial assistance and scholarship, Dr. Anila said that no student is remembered once after being recruited on merit.

He said, “We have offered 700 schools and faculty-funded support for the desert against the 400 prescribed HEC ratio, ensuring maximum access, he said.

The Vice Chancellor further revealed that apart from regular scholarship schemes, the university management also supports more studies under ‘every one, teaching’.

He said, “Therefore, deserves the student, but will never miss their education due to talented financial formation.”

Dr. Anila highlights the more key features of the university that makes it as a separate educational platform for the development of women, including solar-operated, RO water filtration schemes, fully Wi-Fi networking, automated systems with e-infece practices, secured and aconary hostel facilities and opportunities for national and international cooperation.

“Women’s universities are important to provide a second environment in Pakistan,” they concluded, expressing the Confederation under the permanent impact of RDU.

Dr. Anila, after spending a four -year term as a VC, has acquired Rs 1.0 billion in the settlement fund for the university, about leaving the university for her next assignment.
