United States imposes 25 % tariffs on Pakistan and India

The United States on Thursday announced the imposition of new tariffs on most American trading partners, according to which Pakistan has been imposed by 19 % and 25 % by India.

According to the list of White House, 19 % tariffs have been imposed on Pakistan. The tariff is imposed at a time when US President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced on his social media trithe social media that “Pakistan and the United States will work together to increase the major oil reserves.”

European Union

The European Union exports will generally impose 15 % tariffs.

The decision was decided to escape from a high level of 30 % between the two sides. European Commission Chairman Arsola Van Door Lane said that some agricultural commodities will be exempted from the deal.

Mexico

Trump announced a 90 -day delay in implementing tariffs on Mexico. The decision came after a conversation with Mexican President Claudia Shenbam.

South Korea

A few days before the tariff implementation, an agreement was signed between the United States and South Korea, under which the revenue on South Korean goods would be 15 % instead of 25 %.

Brazil

Trump announced a tariff of up to 50 % on Brazil’s goods, but will be applicable from August 6 instead of 1 August.
