UK furniture industry shows interest in joint enterprises with PFC

Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News -27th July, 2025) UK -based furniture manufacturers have expressed strong interest in collaborating with Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) and promoting high quality Pakistani furniture in international export markets.

It was stated in an official message from London here, where a PFC delegation is currently visiting a PFC delegation by CEO Mian Kashif Ashfaq. The delegation is actively attached to Pakistan’s craftsmanship with importers, retailers and industry stakeholders and expand its global footprint.

Mian Kashmirif Ashfaq said that the UK market grows growing for premiums, the handfed furniture align well with Pakistan Strengtles in both traditional and modern design aesthetics.

This synergy presents a promising opportunity for long -term partnership. He said that PFC is planning to actively arrange for single-count exhibitions in major markets including the UK to attract foreign investment and promote strategic collabobation.

“These efforts will help in occupying the global furniture industry as a compatible player,” he said. “The UK manufacturers see the price in Pakistan’s efficient craftsmanship and cost -effective products, making joint enterprises a perfect route to promote exports.” He estimated that such a partnership was contributing significantly to the government’s target of $ 5 billion in furniture exports by 2030 in the couch.
