Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan supports two -two solutions to the Palestinian issue and Gaza has an immediate ceasefire, providing humanitarian aid and restoring Palestine as a state.

Speaking to Arabs News, Ishaq Dar made it clear that Pakistan’s foreign policy has been supporting two -two solutions for years.

An important peace conference is being held at the United Nations Headquarters from 28 July to 30 July organized by Saudi Arabia and France.

The purpose of this conference is to establish the Palestinian state and pave the way for permanent peace in the region.

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister says, ‘It is already too late to handle the issue. The efforts of Saudi Arabia and France are commendable. Pakistan has always said that Palestine’s solution is only two state formulas. ,

He hoped that the conference would pave the way for a ceasefire, food, therapy and other assistance and help to identify Palestine as an independent state.

Currently, Gaza has been facing continuous bombing and ground attacks for almost two years in which thousands of Palestinians have lost their lives.

The United Nations and other international organizations have predicted famine on malnutrition, severe water and medical facilities.

Expressing regret over the situation, Ishaq Dar said, “If we succeed in achieving these goals, it will be a great success and a great service for Saudi Arabia and France.”

The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan has been involved in relief activities from the beginning, which has now expanded to Syria and Lebanon.

He said: “We fully support the self -support of the Palestinian people and they are in favor of an independent, adjacent state on the borders before 1967, whose capital is Jerusalem.”

Pakistan is currently the President of the UN Security Council. Ishaq Dar said that on July 24, he presided over an open debate on Palestine.

He said: ‘Pakistan’s situation is very clear and we are standing in the right direction of history.’

Describing similarities in Kashmir and Palestine, he said that violation of United Nations resolutions is a fundamental issue in both disputes.

Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan does not consider power and war a solution to problems, but dialogue and diplomacy are the only way. Referring to the meeting of the Security Council recently, he said, “We have unanimously approved the proposal on the issue of peaceful dispute resolution, which is an extraordinary success.”

Referring to unavoidable destruction in Gaza, Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan, Arabs League and OIC would provide all possible support in reconstruction.

He said: ‘Pakistan will provide its skills in various fields including health, education, governance.’

He also spoke on the alleged war crimes in Gaza and said that Pakistan has repeatedly raised its voice on OIC and other forums.

According to him: ‘Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and I openly condemned the names of the culprits.’

He said that if global judicial decisions are ignored, the global system of justice would be broken and that is why improvement in the United Nations is necessary.

Ishaq Dar also expressed concern over the target journalists of Israel and said that “Journalists are also living in this war, they are being targeted.” All this should be stopped immediately, this massacre should be stopped. ,
