A flight from Southwest Airlines was forced to dive “aggressively” at Hollywood Burbank airport to avoid a potential outdoor collision on Friday.
At least two on -board agents were injured during the flight 1496, to Las Vegas.
Passenger Jimmy Dore said that many on board had been thrown out of their seats and had “hit the head on the ceiling”.
“The pilot said that his collision warning took place and that he needed to avoid the plane that happens to us,” he added in a post on X. “WoW.”
Southwest Airlines confirmed in Newsweek that the flight had been forced to “climb and descendant” on Burbank after receiving two “traffic alerts on board”.
