The leaders of Thailand and Cambodia both want to end the current conflict between their country, the president Donald Trump said in a Post on social truth SATURDAY.
Trump says he spoke to both the acting Prime Minister of Thailand and the Prime Minister of Cambodia of an “immediate ceasefire”.
The call to the ceasefire intervenes while Cambodia and Thailand continue to fight for a border dispute, which left at least 32 dead and caused the evacuation of tens of thousands.
“I just spoke to the Prime Minister’s interim minister of Thailand, and it was a very good conversation. Thailand, like Cambodia, wants to have an immediate cease-fire and peace,” said Trump in his social article of truth. “I will now relay this message to the Prime Minister of Cambodia. After talking to the two parties, the ceasefire, peace and prosperity seems to be a natural. We will see soon!”
The position intervened a few minutes after Trump said he was in contact with the Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Manet concerning the war, also noting that he was trying to settle a business with the two countries in the midst of the fighting.
“It turns out that we are, by coincidence, which currently deal with trade with the two countries, but do not want to conclude an agreement, with one or the other country, if they are fighting – and I told them!” Said Trump.
