On Sunday, the American coast guard recovered three bodies in the Pacific Ocean after a small plane, the trio crashed off Monterey, California on Saturday evening.
The coroner unit of the Sheriff’s Bureau of the county of Monterey identified the deceased on Sunday as residents of California, Steve Eugene Clatterbuck, 60, of Salinas; James Vincent, 36, from Monterey; And Jamie Lee Tabscott, 44, also from Monterey.
The Coast Guard said in a press release that a boat rescue team from the City of Monterey who helped research and recovery efforts found the first of three non -reactive in the accident area at 3:01 a.m. on Sunday.
A private diving team helped the Monterey fire services crews to find the other two bodies at 6:31 a.m. and 9:08 a.m. in the fuselage slaughtered from the plane, said the Coast Guard.
The agency received a notification around 10:55 p.m. on Saturday that a two -engage beech with three people on board crashed approximately 300 meters from the Point Pinos lighthouse, which is in the city of Pacific Grove. The plane took the origin of San Carlos airport at the southern end of San Francisco Bay.
“STATION MONTEREY launched a 29 -foot of response crew, which arrived on the scene about 15 minutes after the notification,” the Coastal Guard said in a press release. “Guardians of the San Francisco Coast Guard sector also coordinated the launch of an Air Station San Francisco MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter Air Crew.”
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the accident, he said in a position on X. He did not immediately respond to a comment request on Sunday.
The coroner unit of the Sheriff’s Bureau of the county of Monterey said that the family of the deceased had asked for private life.
“The family and friends of the deceased expressed that they wanted to exercise their gratitude for the outpouring of the community’s support,” he said.
