A 75 -year -old real estate professional who disappeared earlier this week was found dead in a cave of the Mojave desert and the authorities invoiced an IT expert for murder after initially asking for his help in the investigation.
The bizarre affair resulted in the arrest Wednesday by Audrik Matevosian, 21, of Clovis in the murder of Robert “Bob” Boyajian. Matevosian was charged Thursday from first degree murder with special circumstances and a large flight, according to the Sheriff’s Bureau of Madera.

The case began when an employee of Boyajian was worried after failing a meeting on Monday morning. After many attempts to reach him by phone, the employee called 911 to request a wellness check in his house in Bass Lake.
Boyajian was not found.
The deputies searched the house, finding no trace of unfair game. Boyajian’s car was parked in the garage, and a briefcase and the Apple Watch that he would have always worn were located inside the house. His phone and wallet lacked.

After obtaining a mandate, the investigators found an ATM withdrawal of $ 1,000 made on the day before the call of 911 around 8:30 p.m. in a bank in Clovis, at around 47 miles from Bass Lake. Before publishing the ATM photos to the public, the investigators received two advice alleging that Matevosian was involved in the disappearance of Boyajian.
After the approval of a search warrant, the investigators recovered two firearms in Matevosian’s chamber, a 9 -millimeter handgun had previously declared stolen by Boyajian in March and a 10 -millimeter handgun recorded under the name of Boyajian. He was placed in police custody on Wednesday.
Matevosian initially told investigators that Boyajian had committed suicide, according to the deputies. He later said that Boyajian asked him to help him end his life. Matevosian finally admitted the murder, saying that Boyajian would have spoken in a derogatory manner of his family, said Pogue.
A financial gain prompted the massacre, added Pogue.
According to investigators, Matevosian bought a body bag from Amazon a week before the murder. He would have rented a vehicle in Fresno on Monday and went to Boyajian’s home on Saturday. Matevosian spent the night after finishing a computer task and killed Boyajian around midnight, according to Pogue. The authorities did not say how Boyajian was killed.
Pogue said Matevosian wrapped Boyajian’s body in bedding and clock inside the body bag, which he later buried in a cave of the Mojave desert. When he returned to Fresno, Matevosian withdrew $ 1,000 using Boyajian information, the authorities said.

The deputies found Boyajian’s body in the cave. The Coroner de San Bernardino office will determine its cause of death.
Boyajian’s phone was thrown into a local park, and its wallet was hidden in the Matevosian gymnasium, said Pogue. The hard drive of $ 1,000 and the home security system were inside Matevosian’s car, the deputies added.

Matevosian told the authorities that he had visited the burial place with Boyajian during an off -road trip.
Pogue said Boyajian had treated Matevosian and his brother as grandchildren. Matevosian’s brother presented the two after being hired as an accountant in Boyajian real estate affairs in Fresno.
“It was not uncommon for them to make trips or stay at night at his home,” said Pogue.
Boyajian worked in real estate for almost five decades, according to a KTLA 5 report.
“It was a calculated and insane act against a respected member of our community,” said Pogue. “Our detectives have worked tirelessly and methodically to do justice to Mr. Boyajian and his relatives. We are grateful for collaboration with our partner agencies and the members of the community who have helped to advance this affair. ”
Pogue said Matevosian had no criminal record before the murder. He will be tried at the Superior Court of Madera County, according to the Sheriff’s office.
