The double temple of WWE renown and former Hulk Hogan world champion, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, died Thursday at the age of 71, according to Clearwater, Florida, Police and World Wrestling Entertainment.
“WWE is saddened to learn the WWE renown temple, Hulk Hogan has died,” said the company. “One of the most recognizable personalities in pop culture, Hogan helped WWE obtain worldwide recognition in the 1980s. WWE exercises condolences to the family, friends and fans of Hogan.”
The Clearwater police service and the fire service responded to a cardiac arrest just before 10 a.m. and took Hogan to the Morton factory hospital, where he was declared the police.

Hogan began his professional wrestling career in 1977 and presented in good place in the World Wrestling Federation (now known as WWE), the fight of the world championship and the impact struggle, but it took place with WWE in the 1980s which propelled it as well as the Cultural Zeitgeist company.
Hogan is widely credited for having helped to transform the professional struggle of a regional attraction to a consumer phenomenon in the 1980s. Hogan got married three times, first in Linda Bollea from 1993 to 2009. The former couple had two children, Brooke and Nick.
Hogan married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010, but they asked for divorce in October 2021 after 11 years of marriage.
Hogan is survived by his two children and his wife Sky Daily.
