Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – August 10, 2025), Asif Ali Zardari, has renewed the national resolution to work for the empowerment and progress of minority communities.
He reiterated that he would contact his efforts to promote Interfath Hormony, Brotherhood and Ekta for the creation of an inclusive and rich Pakistan.
On Sunday, in a message on the occasion of Minority Day, it is being celebrated on August 11, saying that on this day, he confirmed his comment to protect and move forward of minorities.
“The day reflects the vision of Quad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, wherever civilian equality, harmony and mutual respect,” Presidency Secretary in a press wing press release.
The President said that the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan guaranteed equal rights to all citizens, despite religion, caste, creed, or color.
It wrestled the legitimate interests of minorities, ensuring its political, economic, religious, social and cultural rights.
He said, “Pakistan stands perfectly against discrimination, extremism and religiously all forms. Mutual respect, interfaces are anchored in harmony and shared progress,” he said.
Presidency Zardari said that even this day was an opportunity to contribute to the nation-building of minority communities. He served the country with dedication in armed forces, judiciary, civil service, education and health. He said that his patriotism and service remained a source of pride for the whole nation.
The President of Pakistan took several measures for the empowerment of wells and minorities. These include establishment of National Commissions for minorities, allocation of minority welfare funds, provisions of restoration and worship and special assistance to minority students.
“In 2009, during my first term as the President of Pakistan, the government declared August 11 as Minority Day, which refers to our national commitment to equality, inclusion, and the recognition of minority rights continues to promote the interface dialogue of minorities in every field of national life,” he said.
