As July ends, the NFL continues to reveal its annual list Top 100 before the 2025 NFL season. The Philadelphia Eagles, the Ballon Saquon Barkley bearer, have not yet been mentioned, but the star ball carrier has been involved in many comments so far.
This week, Barkley had the chance to discuss one of his young teammates, Cooper Dejean, who was shocked to recruit the list of the 100 best in the NFL after only a year in the League.
“I’m in the top 100? Really?” Said Dejean with a real shock. “It’s uh … I mean, I don’t even know what to think. It’s pretty cool.”
The Eagles secondary, Zack Baun, turned on to smile when he discovered it in the next scene of the video. “Let’s go!” The veteran secondary said.

As for Barkley, he discussed the most impressive factors that Dejean has.
“The most impressive thing about Coop is the way he is going to work. The way he prepares his body for practice,” said Rusher All-Pro. “You enter the weight room, and he is there first. He entered, and when things rolled, he never looked back.”
Although Dejean did not become an immediate starter for the Eagles during his recruited season, the team realized that it was too good to be hidden. There was a time when Dejean was invoked to make major games for the Eagles, and he delivered.
As a recruit, Dejean had a viral moment when he laid a free field tackle against the power of the Ravens of Baltimore, Derrick Henry. Although it is his most memorable regular season game, Barkley and Baun underlined a situation against the Bengals of Cincinnati, where Dejean chased the star receiver Ja’mar Chase around the Pré-Snap before making an impressive tackle to avoid any gain.
Of course, the video editing has been crowned with the most famous play by Dejean to date: a pic-six against Patrick Mahomes on the Super Bowl stage.
“I don’t think there is a better way to celebrate your birthday than one of the biggest choices of choosing the story of the Super Bowl,” Barkley finished.
DEJEAN’s biggest contribution in the 2024 NFL season was the first interception of his career. The Eagles have implemented a dominant defensive performance against the Kansas City chiefs, and the interception of Dejean triggered the fire.
He finished the 2024 NFL season with 51 plated, six passenger deviations, a forced escape and three recovery escaped during the regular season. In the playoffs, Dejean recorded 18 plated, four passenger deviations, a breakdown recovery and an interception for a touchdown.
