Islamabad:
President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the terrorist attack on security forces in Mastung district of Balochistan.
He called this cowardice a disappointing conspiracy against the state of Pakistan.
The President, Major Mohammad Rizwan Tahir, Naik Ibn Amin and Lance Naik Mohammad, who were martyred in the terrorist attack, prayed for their high rank and patience for their family.
In his statement, President Asif Ali Zardari said that the nation salutes the great sacrifices of its brave martyrs.
He appreciated the timely and bold operation of the security forces, saying that the response of the terrorists in vengeance reflects the professionalism and national commitment of the forces.
The President said that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its security forces in the fight against terrorism, and the unclean ambitions of the terrorists at any cost will not be allowed to succeed.
He made it clear that terrorist elements working under India’s protection would soon be destroyed and no compromise will be made on Pakistan’s security and sovereignty.
