The federal government has intensified the deployment of technicians in federal ministries and departments under practical steps to promote foreign investment, transparent governance and institutional reforms.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister of the House in Islamabad on Friday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif chaired a high level meeting, which was given a briefing on progress on steps taken in relation to the Public Private Partnership Authority.
The statement said that the government has ensured merit -based recruitments for this purpose to harmonize the country’s economy with digital, modern and international needs.
The rally said that experts have been posted in 15 technical positions so far, while 47 are running.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister clarified that institutional reforms for the development of the country’s economy are among the top priorities of the government. He said, “We are ensuring digitization of the economy, the rights of government agencies and the deployment of merit of competent people, and no corruption or transparency will be tolerated in this regard,” he said.
It was reported that 30 candidates have been shortlisted for the management of seven major executive officers, chief finance officers and seven major ministries and departments. The initial stages of interview for the Petroleum Division and the National Professional and Technical Training Commission have been completed.

Briefing also said that various ministries nominated focal teams to formulate an investment strategy, while coordinated strategies have been designed in areas such as IT, Railways and Tourism. Framework has been developed or in the final stages of construction in many major areas including food security, naval cases, minerals, energy, industry and housing.
New committee for civil service reforms
The Prime Minister was informed that 18 economic sectors ‘pitch boxes’ have been developed for investment cooperation with Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Azerbaijan and Kuwait to offer potential plans.
Earlier on July 24, a meeting on the Prime Minister’s Civil Services Reforms was held, in which recommendations for construction, recruitment, recruitment, training, demonstrations, pay and development systems were discussed.
The Prime Minister has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, which will make extensive recommendations within a month.
The meeting was informed that the purpose of reforming civil service is not only to improve governance, but also to facilitate the life of the common citizen and bring talented people forward.
The Prime Minister directed that a permanent system should be established which can keep the civil service compatible according to the requirements of the time and that the improvement process will be made not only on time but regularly.
