Los Angeles Dodgers probably know that they must add to the enclosure of the lifters before the deadline for exchanges passed Thursday.
While the team was linked to Jhoan Duran, Ryan Helsley and Emmanuel Clase, there is a lift that has been forgotten: longtime dodgers are getting closer to Kenley Jansen. Jansen previously admitted that he thought he would wear Dodger Blue for the rest of his career.

“I thought I would play all my career with the Dodgers,” said Jansen Bill Shailkin du Times.
Now Shailkin thinks that Dodgers should continue Jansen on the deadline for trade.
“Dodgers urgently buy right -handers,” wrote Shailkin. “In Anaheim, Jansen takes advantage of a season which, according to certain measures, is his best since 2021, his last season with the Dodgers. … They need a depth of pitching, and it would be a professional organizational fault not to obtain it by exchanging their free agents waiting, Jansen included.”
In 40 games this season, Jansen recorded 17 stops en route to publish a 3.19 MPM for the Angels. In a better team like Dodgers, its time should drop.
However, questions arise on the question of whether Jansen would be willing to present outside the ninth round.
“At that time, it’s just about getting rings,” Jansen told Shailkibn. “My goal is to win. You play for that, always. I understand that there is a milestone that I am close to. But, at the end of the day, that’s why you play. You play to win. You play to win a world series. If I have to go and launch the sixth, seventh, eighth, I would do it. I am a professional. I would do what I would do better.
Jansen would be a strong addition to the back of the Dodgers enclosure if it was ready to launch outside the ninth round. However, if Tanner Scott continues to fight, the Dodgers could consider putting Jansen to the role closest to the Dodger stadium if they acquire him.
