LOS Angeles – It seems that the Yoshinobu Yamamoto dog has helped keep things safe at home when the Los Angeles Dodgers launcher was in road trip.
The noisy barring of the dog and a staff member who lit the lights probably helped to thwart a burglary attempt early Wednesday morning at the Hollywood Hills house of the Dodgers phenomenon, said NBC4 NBC Los Angeles NBC4 investigators. Three people jumped over the rear fence around 5:30 am and broke a rear glass door but never entered the residence, the authorities said.
Nothing was taken.

The staff members were at home at the time and lit the lights. Coupled with aggressive barking by Yamamoto dog, potential thieves turned their tail, NBC4 investigations said in NBC4 on Thursday. Someone at home called a private security member, who then called the police.
Newschopper4 video showed the dog by the pool at home later Wednesday morning. In an interview with Spectrum Sports, Yamamoto said he had adopted the dog of an animal refuge.
“Since I was a child, I have always loved animals because my mother worked at the veterinary clinic,” said Yamamoto through an interpreter in the interview earlier this year. “Last year, when I was on the [injured list]My mother visited me that she wanted to visit the animal refuge, so we went there and I fell in love with my dog. So, I adopted it.
A member of the private security team was on the scene in an unmarked car. The authorities are trying to determine how the intruders have bypassed the officer.
Police have told NBC4 investigation that anyone hiring private security should have them in a marked vehicle to provide visual deterrence.
No arrest was reported, but sources of application of the law said that three people had been seen on a video of the security camera. The police, who examine the video of the security camera, tries to determine whether the crime is linked to one of the many burglaries teams operating in Los Angeles.
The Dodgers finished a series on Wednesday against the Reds in Cincinnati on Wednesday.
Yamamoto, 26, from Japan, has a 9-7 sheet with a 2.63 MPM this season. He launched seven rounds on Monday, abandoning only four shots and withdrawing nine in the 5-2 victory of the Dodgers.
The burglary attempt is the latest crime targeting the houses of professional athletes in Los Angeles and across the country. Dodgers, Rams and Lafc players were all recent targets.
Fraction was reported in the houses of the infidels of Dodgers Max Muncy and Freddie Freeman in 2023. A burglary was reported at the Los Angeles home of LaFC striker Olivier Giroud in February.
