In 1903, the man went to the sky for the first flight by a successful plane. Six decades later, humans left footprints on the moon. It is a remarkable trip encapsulated in one place – the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum – which undergoes a multi -year renovation. Christopher Browne, director of the museum, joined to discuss how his first visit to the museum inspired him.
