That you can appreciate one with another

I used to think “home” was a dirty word. Outside – on the street – where life is created, is full of exciting adventures, attractive people and endless possibilities. Any dip voice, 30-minute lunch brake, mind-sun-sunning matings, or two-dos endless lists were squeezed over a weekend.

Why would this house want to stay, the place where the routine has kept its desire into existence? This surprised me.

My first trip abroad – a holiday for Costa Rica – I fell in love with a trip. For all the reasons related to Manian, I realized why “holidays” was romantic in work culture. There was a freedom for them that control control includes daily corporate pieces.

So, when I finally quit my job, I set up an adventure to expect that all the world would have to offer until I could finalize my money.

I mean, who is the tire of life on the road?

Ok i

After all, I tire to be a full -time nomad. I have a stable group of friends, regular workouts, once, which my name, to cook in a kitchen, and my own bed craved.

Suddenly, I realized that “home” was not a dirty word. This is just a young, restless question for methods for which adulthood felt.

I understood that anyone who is installing with romantic novels about the journey cannot do: you can exclude the body. My first journey abroad, after 18 months, I hit the wall and decided to reduce my journey. Then, years later, in 2013, I decorated that being nomadic no longer life for me and decided to stop traveling full -time.

It was time to grow up, I said. Time to stay ahead of the nomad and move forward… whatever came forward.

But the attraction of the road – and the business of working in the trakel – I continuously returned me.

As the years passed, I lived between the two worlds: one in which I am traveling, longing for the house, and the other in which I am home, I have a longing to get out.

There were moments where I lived for a long time for a clone so that I could live in both and fulfill my dual desires.

After all, you can’t – and be there – should live completely in one forever.

Because travel and home are complementary force, yin and yang. Without one, you cannot approve the other.

All the passengers hit a wall, that when they look around and go, “I am ready to live in one place.” When and when this happens, there is a product of many factors, but I have come to meet a passenger who does not have that experience. When I started the journey in my twenty -two conditions, it took me years to feel. But now, a few decades old, it is just after one month.

To handle life, the brain creates mental shortcuts to help it process the process. This is why we drive the same route to work every day – this is simply easy, and why do you think “you can do it in your sleep.” Because if your brain had to find a new route to work every day, it will exclude the tire itself. These routes gave us a lot of life on autopylal, so we have energy for work, people, feelings, thinking, etc.

But when you travel, you are reclaiming life skills every day. You have no mental shortcut. Each day to film your own way in the world, to resume your bag, the person you met the yeast, and the unfamiliar land to get out, try to navigate the languages again, as if you didn’t do it, as if you had never done it before.

It makes you tired.

While a holiday is a temporary break from life, long-ravaged journey is different. There is no brake when you are traveling long -term (or often move). You are constantly trying to find out things and constantly breaking your routine. Your travel battery drains.

Still, the journey needs to be recharged the battery, our “home” also does battery.

While some people can follow the same routine throughout their life, most of us cannot do. We find it boring. We need a break. After a while, we yearn to break the monotony of our routine. Work, commute, work … day out, like ants and marking on.

So we travel again. We have an adventure work, meet new people, try new food, and have new experiences. Perhaps learn, grow, and expand who we are. Perhaps we are away for one or two weeks or we take a month off. Or we start working and spend months. But finally our battery drains: we get tired, and then we agree with the house.

And the cycle repeats.

The growing elder has assured me that we can never travel with home or travel with another. My first year on the road is never so amazing if I had a version to be free from a quarter-middle routine. Similarly, my bed never felt so good that I had focused on many years, nor would I have enjoyed the relief that regularly brings that I did not spend many days trying to navigate the stress of the world for so long.

The pleasure of one is amplified by the other.

Travel and home are two sides of the same coin. I now apply even more when I was small, because I expect both on my terms. I am not trying to run from Ether or now going to an exTram. I just follow their eb and flow and determine the battery of life near one or the other.

And I think it is a knowledge that comes only with age – and experience.
