Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that the ongoing tension between Thailand and Cambodia has reminded him of the previous Pak-India struggle, both countries want immediate ceasefire.
In a message posted on the social media platform “Turn Social”, Trump said that he had spoken to the Prime Minister of Cambodia, and now the acting Prime Minister of Thailand has also been contacted to convince the two countries for the ceasefire.
He said that the United States is currently holding a trade talks with the two countries, but as long as the war continues, there will be no compromise. Trump said that he had given a clear message to both sides that no trade agreement would be done without closing the United States fight.
President Trump said that the conversation with the Prime Minister of Thailand was positive and the two countries wanted ceasefire and peace. He said that soon the matters will become clear and peace will be established in this area.
Trump also stated that an immediate meeting and ceasefire with Cambodia and Thailand is agreed to fulfill the business agreements in the future under historical and cultural honors, and they are eager to fulfill the business agreements with them in the future.
