Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Thai Foreign Minister, who agreed to cooperate in other areas including trade.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Deputy Prime Minister and External Affairs Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Thai Foreign Minister Muras Sangampong on the occasion of a high -level program during the President of Pakistan at the United Nations Security Council.
During the meeting, the two leaders expressed satisfaction on positive progress in bilateral relations, especially cultural and parliamentary links, public relations. In addition, in the fields of trade and tourism, both countries agreed to expand cooperation in many areas including food security, fishing, defense and regional relations.
Both foreign ministers also discussed regional and international issues, while cooperation in multilateral forums including the United Nations was also discussed. External Affairs Minister Mars congratulated Pakistan under the chairmanship of the United Nations Security Council and appreciated the role of Pakistan in the work of the council.
