England captain Ben Stokes was unhappy with the way to refuse to draw in the final of the fourth Test in the Anderson-Tandulkar Trophy Sunday. Stokes realized that England could not win the situation in which he accepted the draw and asked India to accept.
However, Washington Sunder and Ravindra Jadeja were very close to their centuries. Therefore, neither of the two batsmen enjoyed the offer of handshake by Ben Stokes, and England’s captains were not disappointed.
Both Sunder and Jadeja completed their centuries. India finally accepted a draw, as well as their last total of 425/4 in the second innings. With this result, England have won an unbeaten 2-1 in the five-match series.
The fourth test is done and dust, but denial of Stokes’s moment that offers India and India has become a place to talk on social media. A fan shared a photo on his x profile and wrote:
