Tanya Simon is the executive producer of 60 minutesUS 1 new n ° 1 program for more than five decades. Award -winning journalist with more than three decades of editorial leadership, production and reporting experience, Simon played an essential role in some of the best reports, profiles and surveys for broadcasting.
Simon assumed the role of acting executive producer in April 2025, heading 60 minutes until the end of the 2024-25 season, which marked the 51st consecutive year of broadcasting as a program of news on television. Simon was 60 -minute editor for six seasons. She began her career at CBS News as a researcher for “48 hours” in 1996, reaching an associate producer and then producer at News magazine before joining 60 minutes.
His work has won practically all broadcasting honor, including several Emmy Awards, Peabody and Dupont-Columbia Award.
Simon holds a baccalaureate from Columbia University in 1992 with a BA in comparative literature and lives in New York with her husband and two sons.
