Many people think that the barbecue is about meat and beer, but for me, Alfresco dining is fresh seasonal food and meals and healthy. So whether you are organizing a large barbecue for all your friends, you are the guest and everyone who loves to take something healthy, they should hit the following two recipe space! First of all, the rice salad of my book is a beautiful recipe, beautiful eating, it is always thanks to the mixture of wild and brown rice. Wild rice salad
This is one of my friend’s signature dishes and is a real winner. The wonderful texture of wild rice works very perfectly – an excellent summer barbecue additive.
Serves 2
440 calories per service
100g wild rice and 100g brown rice
(or 200g mixed and wild brown rice)
1 tbsp pistachio
1/2 lemon juice
Fresh mountain, roughly chopped
A rocket, roughly chopped
1/2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2 dry nuts by hand, such as raisins, goji berries, sultan or chopped apricots
1 tbsp virgin olive oil
Sea salt and black pepper
- Boil each rice in light salt water by following the package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Meanwhile, heat the pistachods in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes so that they do not smoke frequently. Remove and crush lightly.
- Put the rice to serve in a bowl, add lemon juice, mint, rocket, garlic and nuts, and combine well.
- Throw on the oil, then throw the season and throw the toasted nuts.
Frozen Banana Lollies
Serves 6

400ml coconut or unnoved almond milk
2 large bananas, peeled
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp crushed coconut
Earth hazel (or extra crushed coconut) to dive
This frozen frozen mixture of bananas, coconut creams and honey does a creamy for the summer months. Trade is as sweet as the frozen, but it has a natural and interesting flavor, with many assets to feed the skin.
- Half of the milk thrown in the food processor and add banana, honey and 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract, and then process until smooth.
- In a bowl, drain the remaining coconut milk and vanilla extract.
- Banana mix between six lolly molds.
- Layer coconut mixture on the banana mixture, and then freeze until at least 6 hours or frozen.
- Remove lollies from 10 seconds by immersing warm water. Advise the ground hazel (or grated coconut) into a deep bowl, and then throw each 5-8cm to dry fruit.
- Put lollies to set it in the freezer. They will be ready within 5 minutes or when you want.
