From Friday, the airline will offer free inflight internet connectivity to members of its Rapid Rewards Loyalty Program for OneK.
This can be a sign of what to come.
The Dallas-based carriers will make their online assignment for loyal members between August. 8 and 14.

This is the second time that this year the South -West has experienced with the free Intreet Internet as to what it describes as a test to add customers’ use of TV and film selection customers.
The airline said, “We will use conclusions from both tests to increase our Wi-Fi offer and continue to strengthen which we provide customers to meet their needs.”
Free inflight internet is becoming ideal
Free on -board Wi -Fi is attacking the US airline industry over the fare years.
Delta Air Lines and United Airlines are already preparing their fleet with free internet service. Jetbu has offered her Wi-Fi for years.

And recently, American Airlines announced that it would be made Wi-Fi-free for flyers in 2026.

Can there be free Wi-Fi in the south-west?
Can this free Wi-Fi test be a step towards the south-west offering universal free information internet?
The airline paid the same attention.
“Before we offer free Inflite Wi-Fi beyond this limited offer, we need to look at a quality product, and such a test provides valuable information and inquiry,” South West TPG Freedy.
The airlines have raised the right hopes that making the Internet independent for many more passers -by means that more will use flyers service, which put bandwidth in the test. So often carriers like to experiment with free service, to see how Wi-Fi keeps with more users.
