Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Atullah Tarard on Saturday apologized to the World -Ne -Pakistani mixed martial artist Shah Zeb Rind for ‘illegal delay’ in providing funding and financial assistance.
On Wednesday, Shah Zeb Rind, who lives in Balochistan, strongly criticized the government’s promises to give the award.
In his post, he alleged that ‘our politicians are corrupt. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also announced the award in the past, but it was all a lie.

In September 2024, Shah Zeb Rind won the Karate Combat Championship held in Singapore and won the honor of the first world champion of Pakistan.
He defeated Brazil’s Bruno Roberto de Asis in the final.
After the victory, President Asif Ali Zardari investigated him for Rs 10 crore, while the Balochistan government promised him to give him Rs 2 million and former federal minister’s cash prize to give him 25 acres of land.

Following the clarification of the federal minister, Shah Zeb Rind welcomed the ‘government confession’ and said in his message on X, “I appreciate the Prime Minister’s attention and his commitment to the matter.”
