Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Atullah Tarard on Saturday apologized to the World -Ne -Pakistani mixed martial artist Shah Zeb Rind for ‘illegal delay’ in providing funding and financial assistance.

In September 2024, Shah Zeb Rind won the Karate Combat Championship held in Singapore and won the honor of the first world champion of Pakistan.

After the victory, President Asif Ali Zardari investigated him for Rs 10 crore, while the Balochistan government promised him to give him Rs 2 million and former federal minister’s cash prize to give him 25 acres of land.

According to Rind, they have not received cash and training support of Rs 8 crore by the federal government and they have not received any money.

Reacting to the criticism of Shah Zeb Rind, Ataullah Tarad wrote on Saturday, apologize on X and wrote, ‘There is a misunderstanding somewhere. We honestly apologize for this unnecessary and unresolved delay. ,

He said, ‘Players like Shah Zeb Rind are our real heroes. You have made the name of the country and we are proud of you. The Prime Minister has taken strict notice of delay and directed that the matter be resolved immediately. ,

Following the clarification of the federal minister, Shah Zeb Rind welcomed the ‘government confession’ and said in his message on X, “I appreciate the Prime Minister’s attention and his commitment to the matter.”

This is not the first time that Shah Zeb Rind has complained about the government’s behavior.
