Karachi, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th July, 2025) The Sindh government has decided to celebrate Independence Day in an organized, intercourse and historic manner.
A high-level meeting about the prepapers for the Independence Day and the “MA’ARKA-E-Heq” committees was chaired by Sindh Senior Minister Sharjil Inam Medan.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Gani, Zulfikar Shah, Special Assistant Syed Qasim Naved Qamar and Engineer Qasim Somro, Ahmed Shah, Information Secretary Nadem ur Rehman Memon and other senior officials.
The meeting reviewed the arrangements and preparations for the upcoming ceremonies.
The meeting also decided that government buildings, roads, buses, trains, markets and public places, this provision would be obtained with national flags, lights and banners.
A compressed media campaign will also be launched to invite public participation to the festival.
Events, decoration schemes, media outreach, cultural activities, public engagement at district level, as well as security and hygiene measures were discussed.
Sharjil Memon emphasized the Independence Day of that year and the related events will reflect the vision of the Sindh government.
He said, “This August will not be just a festive time, but would be a month to promote patriotism, sacrifice, unity and truth,” he said that all the sections of all sections said.
Special programs will be organized for children with disability, minorities, senior citizens and women. Central level of incidents will also be assisted at the district level for extensive engagement.
“The cold government will see this day as a re -confirmation of its commitment to democracy, devils, human rights and national unity,” Memon Saudi.
Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that Independence Day will also be identified by social action investigation community service, tree plantation drivers, hygiene campaign, blood donation and other citizen initiatives.
Local government minister Saeed Ghani announced that all local government institutions wound to organize the program at ward, union council and town level.
He said, “Public rallies, national songs and youth sports competitions will help inspire and make the younger generations energetic,” he said.
To highlight the cultural heritage of Sindh, Culture Minister Zulfikar Shah announced that the special show, poetry session, qawwali nights, and dramatic performance arts councils, schools, colleges and theater groups with participation of groups. “This is not just a celebrity, but an opportunity to re -connect with our cultural roots,” he said.
