A man was found fatally shot dead inside his car Thursday morning near a primary school in Whittier, and a few hours later, the shooter remained in freedom, the authorities said.
At 11:05 a.m., after being alerted by the appellants, the police found a man sprawled on the dashboard of his golden sedan near Pickering Avenue and Penn Street – less than a quarter of Mile from the Catholic primary school St. Mary of Assumption, according to the Whittier police service. The victim suffered several shot injuries and was declared dead on the scene, police said.
The shooter remained in freedom early Thursday evening. Police said the detectives conduct an “in -depth investigation” and had not provided additional details at the place of the suspect’s potential.
“Once we have an update on this subject, we will be able to provide information. But we also don’t want it to interfere with the investigation,” Whittier’s police spokesperson for the Times.
Whittier police urged anyone with information on the murder to contact their distribution line at (562) 567-9240.
