As one of the most emblematic franchises in sport, Dallas Cowboys have a wide range of famous fans. Before the 2025 season, one of their most notable supporters put a stiff bet on their opening match.
The 2024 campaign explained how the cowboys hoped, largely due to an injury. They only won seven games, their lowest total since 2020. After failing to make the playoffs, the front office started to work to make the team on the right track.
Although they still have unfinished affairs to attend in the form of a Parsons Micah, Dallas is able to overthrow things this season. Among those who are extremely convinced that they will be more competitive, there is the legend of the NBA Shaquille O’Neal.

During a recent episode of his big podcast, Shaq plunged into his passionate cowboys fandom. He is so joined to this year’s team that he was ready to place a big bet with his co-host, Adam Lefkoe.
If Dallas is not able to obtain a victory against the Eagles of Philadelphia in week 1, the great man of the fame of fame will wear a dress outside one of his hotels.
“We win this year, I guarantee it,” said Shaq about Cowboys. “I will wear this dress in front of my restaurant at the Paris hotel in Vegas.”

Remove the Eagles will not be an easy task. Reporting the majority of last year’s list, the title champions are in a strong position to go back.
The cowboys had a minimal success against Philadelphia last year, undergoing eruption losses during each of their two meetings. During week 10, Dallas was on the wrong side of a 34-6 defeat. Then, in the week 17, the Eagles won a 41-7 victory to sweep the series of the season.

With a fresh slate this season, the cowboys have a chance to give better results against the Eagles. One thing they will have for them is an improved talent distribution. With a healthy Dak Prescott under the center, Dallas will make its debut on its new Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens.
After his recent Miller, Shaq is someone who will look carefully at the Cowboys opening match.
