Several people have stabbed in Walmart at Traverse City, Michigan; suspect in detention

Michigan authorities say they are investigating a multiple stabbing incident in a Walmart to City.

The suspect is in detention, said Michigan State police in a statement published on social networks.

The Sheriff’s Bureau of the County of Grand Traverse Investigation.

The authorities have provided no other details.

State police asked people to avoid the area as the investigation continues.

Crossing City, a city of around 16,000 inhabitants, is in northern Michigan, about 150 miles north of Grand Rapids.
