According to Karachi police, on Friday, a well -known lawyer, Khwaja Shamsul Islam, Defense Charan 6 was shot dead by his former gunman’s son outside the mosque, while his son Daniel Khwaja was injured in the incident.
Mohsin Ali, a spokesman of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), told the independent Urdu that the famous lawyer, Khwaja Shamsul Islam was participating in the funeral prayer of Mujamal Parach, the famous businessman Mujamal Parach at the Defense Academy of Masjid.
According to Mohsin Ali, Khwaja Shamsul Islam and his son Dandi Khwaja were injured in firing. Both were taken to a nearby private hospital with injuries, but Khwaja Shams -Llam could not recover, while his son Daniel is being provided medical aid.
According to Mohsin Ali: ‘The witnesses told the police that the shooting took place outside the mosque. The accused wore a shirt and placed a mask on his face. The attacker was present on the spot and as soon as Khwaja Shams -Llam came out of the mosque, the accused set him on fire. ,
SSP Dakshin Mazhar Ali told the local media that ‘witnesses told the police that after the shooting, the accused said: I took revenge on my father.’

According to the police, footage of three separate CCTV cameras was obtained from the spot, in which the face of the accused is clear. One accused appeared in CCTV footage, while the other was providing backup to the shooter.
The police later identified the accused, who was shot by Khwaja Shamsul Islam as the son of his former gunman.
Deputy Police Superintendent (DIG) South Assad Raza told the local media that the accused, who fired at Khwaja Shams -L -Slam, was the son of his former gunman Imran Afridi. Imran Afridi also attacked Khwaja Shamsul Islam a few months ago. ,
According to Asad Raza, a strategy has been developed for the arrest of the accused, under which the blockade was blocked at various places going out of the city and each bus is being stopped by blocking buses and roads going out of the city on Sohrab Goth. In addition, photographs and other details of the accused have been taken into the nose of the police.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had regretted the assassination of Khwaja Shamsul Islam and ordered an immediate inquiry.
