Security Council: Pakistan criticizes India and Israel on ‘atrocities’ in Kashmir, Gaza

The Deputy Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar said in his address to the United Nations Security Council that the Indian -special Kashmir and Palestinian conflicts are the result of the implementation of the United Nations proposals, which are reducing confidence in the global system.

Presiding over a meeting on the global struggle on Tuesday, Ishaq Dar said that Kashmir is a controversial area whose final decision should be made according to the proposals of the United Nations and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

Criticizing India, he emphasized that “no level of action can be an option for the fundamental rights of Kashmiri people.”

Ishaq Dar expressed strong concern over India’s 65 -year -old Sindh Tas Treaty, saying that India’s move was an attack on the rights of 24 million Pakistanis who trusted the river.

On the occasion, Ishaq Dar strongly condemned Gaza’s Israeli bombing, saying that recent attacks have so far killed more than 58,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children.

The Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister immediately, demanding an unconditional, unconditional and permanent ceasefire, said, “The human situation in Gaza is very serious and we have to take serious steps towards the establishment of an independent and viable state for the Palestinians.”
Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan’s foreign policy is based on principles like United Nations Charter, International Law and Sovereignty of States, the right to non -eclipse and self -containing.

Approval of a proposal related to peace settlements on dispute

During the meeting, the proposal submitted by Pakistan 2788 was unanimously approved, which aims to strengthen the global system of peaceful resolution of struggle.

Ishaq Dar, describing it as an expression of the commitment of the international community, said that “this resolution is a reflection of the global desire to solve problems through the spirit of the United Nations Charter and through diplomatic sources.”

The resolution urges the member states to ensure effective implementation of resolutions, which have been approved by the Security Council for peaceful resolution of disputes.

The resolution also encourages the level of the member states and the United Nations such as diplomatic efforts, arbitrations, confidence construction and dialogue to prevent any dispute to promote dialogue at local, regional and sub -regional and sub -regional levels.

The resolution also asks all regional and sub -organizational organizations to intensify its efforts to resolve conflict and strengthen cooperation with the United Nations.
