Quetta, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th July 2025) Secretary Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department Muhammad Hashim Hashim Ghiljai visited the water and sensation Athori (WASA) office in Quetta on Thursday, emphasized the importance of ensuring access to drinking water for Quetta citizens.
He was dissolved by the WASA managing director Muhammad Gul Khalji on the ongoing departmental projects and issues. Senior officials of the department were also presented by briefing.
Completing the meeting, Secretary Hashim Ghiljai directed that the newly installed tube wells should be made immediately functional and equipped with transformers as if they can be brought into mitiline online. Water shortage crisis is going on.

He attributed the ongoing crisis to personally dried and falling water tables, which has greatly affected the water distribution systems.
