Salary of employees of PTI Secretariat

Islamabad:

Dozens of PTI Central Secretariat employees have faced serious financial crisis and uncertainty.

According to sources, the salary of these employees has been cut by 50 % for the last nine months, while the outstanding amount has not been paid by the leadership.

Sources say since October 2024, the pay cut has not been restored or not closed, many employees have faced problems such as arrest, custody and violence while serving for the party, but were rejected instead of praising them.

A senior party leader said on the condition of anonymity that although PTI is suffering from financial difficulties, it is shameful that resources cannot be provided to pay a few lakh rupees, while the party has received three million rupees to pay the arrears of the media team.

Sources say that Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Salman Akram Raja, and Sheikh Wakas Akram were repeatedly informed about the difficulties of the employees, but no practical steps were taken.
