On Wednesday, Minister of State for Religious Affairs Das Kohistani told independent Urdu that the government is not changing Pakistan’s policy to not allow visitors to Iran and Iraq through the ground route this year.

He said that the Home Minister has met Balochistan, Iranian government and various security agencies, where the Prime Minister has been informed about security concerns. These were the reasons that were decided.

Minister of State for Religious Affairs Das Kohistani said that special flights have been arranged for visitors through the National Airline to participate from air travel on Wednesday.

Responding to a question about high air travel costs, the Minister of State for Khel Das Kohistani replied, “Life is nothing more important than this.”

He said about the Haj Policy 2026 that this year 100,000 Pakistanis will be able to perform Haj.
