Review: Angel Pool Villa, Castro, Caphylonia, Greece

The sixth largest island in Greece, and the largest in the Eonian, is a drama of corpus rocks in Kefalonia, the attraction of the myths of Ethaka, and simply enough to stay connected – if you choose to be. And, outside the Argosoli in the south, a collection of villas built on the foundation of the 1953 buildings, over a hill, over a hill, crown by the string of Stage Castle.

Welcome

We arrived late – quite late that the horizon swallowed the sun for a long time and the island is in the moonlight. But Angela, the property names were waiting at the gate, the mentor Angel (and the property manager). Angela dropped our taxi from the airport very well, making our arrival uninterrupted-any frankic GPS-pinning or written form-a smooth transition to this cool escape from the airport-a smooth infection.

Property

The cool is the first quiet gift of the villa. Kefalonians Summers are hot-bladed affairs, but step inside, and you still embrace cool air-white stone walls (about two feet deep) and cool, effective air conditioning.

The main place is open, stone-form and beautifully spare. A fireplace in a corner lounses, in summer it seems more ornamental than practical. We never need to touch the TV – like to eat the institute out and enjoy each other’s company – but if you want it.

Just a few steps above the dining area and the kitchen: a tradition of tradition-meat-tech. Rustic roof bees and worldly ton frame miele appliations, a delonghi coffee machine, integrated fridge-frozer, and every gadget from Toster to Toster sandwich manufacturer. It is a kitchen that wants to cook you, if it was for three beautiful inn within the distribution of walking.

Angela explained that the ruins of the lost buildings in the 1953 earthquake were rejuvenated by a lot of vilas, which were destroyed many of Kifalonia.

There are three bedrooms at the top -a couple and two single -Etest N Suite Shower Room with your owners. In fact, there is no queue for a post-ex-discourse rinse because this property has no less than five rain, which is with three bedrooms as well as out of the kitchen and with a tuck out of the other.

Curus citrus shampoo, conditioner, body gel and hand wash offer a fresh, infecting rooms with a fresh, herbal fragrance, giving Greek skincare a gentle signal.

Facilities

Outside, pool glynches are guests to open guests stuck with keflonian blue skys, sunbeds and seating and discourage any form of productivity in almost any form. There is an outdoor shower, drying rack, and enough shade and sense to suit each tilt.

Here the soundtrack is not cuisted on the spotify, but is gifted by nature: conversion through olive trees, a distance of a distant cockeral or informing is all those you will hear. If you look for noise, nightlife or neon lights, it is not your place. But if you seek peace and solitude, this villa saves in the hukum.

Villa is located about 8 kilometers from Argosoli and hidden but beautiful Greek Orthodox of Agios Nicolos, located in the hill village of Castro, about 8 kilometers from the Church, lovingly restored by owners of Kifelian luxury villas.

Less than a kilometer away is the palace of Agios Georgios, the 16th -century Vinecyan Relatet, which stands both as a ruin and a monument, preserves the area with grace collapsing. Just for € 5, you can walk between the ramparts and absorb in ideas that are some of the best in Kefalonia.

Outside the walls of the palace, the place-offers run by the Castro Cafe-e local family, flower-offers, and even a man adorned in hospitality.

In dinner options Il Borgo, a classic tavarna in which the Greek was corrected with the favorite, and the olive lounge, an upscale escape with stunning panoramatic scenes – time for book and sunset in advertising. All three are with a walk away from the villas.

A small taxi ride you land in the compact capital of Argostoli, island, where turtles gather from fishing boats and the waterfront is ideal for a delicious wandering or spontaneous gelatos.

Other good touch

Small details Lingar: A cisalt and rose discus from Moheda that sinks the villa with calm; And tea, coffee and cold bottled water were waiting on arrival. Probably not grand gestures but quiet people who demand and attraction which perhaps loudly compared to any luxury.

Cost

High weather rates hover in action of 370 pounds per night, needle to £ 270 in the shoulder months. For a property of this caliber – enough space for privacy, elegance, and group of friends, and at this location, this bowel seems appropriate. When you present that community, it believes: peace.

the best bit

The best bit pool was not when it was performed. This was not the scene, when it stopped us daily in our track. It was also not a villa e, as it is. It was a feeling of solitude, peace and relaxation – the opportunity to create the movement of daily life back home.

final call

There is something about installing in a house born in a house born of debris with such grace. Angel Pool Villa stands as a great example of thoughtful restoration, providing a unique hain of transquality and comfort. Whether you prefer to live and relay, or actively detect the island, this is a villa where you can actually achieve and hug the peace of caffelonia.
