If Pakistan has to move forward, it is a major key for better relations with internal politics, economy and security stability as well as regional countries. The importance of global politics is in its place but the first priority is to give its importance in regional politics. In front of diplomacy, when Pakistan fights its case in regional or global politics, its success is also associated with the stability of its internal politics because if we are weak on the inner front, there are difficulties in front of diplomacy. Other countries are making our internal weaknesses.
Whatever disputes are possible in regional politics through bilateral dialogue. This is not a solution to the problems of war or conflict, but this strategy is confused with more problems with us. Whatever political, social, economic, security forums are inactivity at the regional level.
For example, look at the SAARC platform which is neither active nor played a major role in eliminating whatever disputes between regional countries. This is the reason that politicians or educated people are now unaware of the performance and capacity of these forums. Terrorism or extremism is a major threat in regional politics.
In general, the overall attitude of regional countries is that they are not ready to hold themselves responsible for their unsuccessful terrorist strategies. In most strategies, regional countries are accusing each other by hiding their failures. One approach is that we look more sensitive about terrorism, but we look at matters by focusing on security issues in eliminating terrorism. However, political, social and economic forums have great importance in ending terrorism.
This is the reason that in the development of regional countries, the development of these forums, bilateral relations and bilateral public relations is given priority. But regional countries are failing and they want to resolve issues alone or apply their domination over others. India’s strategy is also involved in the inaction of any other forums including the SAARC Forum at the regional level. Because India is a major country in regional politics, it is not ready to play a positive and active role in it, and for this reason these platforms are not doing anything for which they are responsible for.
For example, India directly blames the state of Pakistan as terrorism. A state like Pakistan, which has fallen victim to terrorism and has not only fought against terrorism, but has also made great sacrifice. Therefore, it is not important for the allegation that Pakistan protects terrorism and will not be possible for regional stability including both countries.
Terrorism is a major problem at the regional level and where it is bilateral relations, dialogue, mechanisms and a joint strategy against terrorism and consensus on its implementation. Each country has its own and then a collective role. In the same way, we have to understand that no country will be able to do anything alone to eliminate terrorism. Nothing will be possible until all countries play a general strategy and role on this issue.
Recently, in a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in China, it has been suggested that we have to restructure the “Shanghai Regional Security Forum” that will increase the possibility of cooperation with each other in security issues in the region. And move towards practical steps. The formation of this style platform by Iran is also important and can be called a major success.
The importance of this joint security forum on the Shanghai Forum is even higher as it includes Pakistan, India and Russia including Pakistan. China and Russia can play a major role and help to increase cooperation in regional trade and other fields, including improving Pak -India relations. Pakistan has always called for a joint strategy to end terrorism and now if other countries are emphasizing the same point, then the situation in Pakistan is also a matter. Similarly, the stability of the region requires a solution to the peace and internal crisis of Afghanistan.
