RDA lodge firm against three illegal housing schemes in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th July 2025) On the directions of the direction, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Kinza Murtaza, Metropolitan Planning and Trafficing and Traffic Engineering (MP (MP)

Notices include highlights, including selling PLS with approval, spreading misleading information about NOC status and cheating Plass through false advertisements on social media. The project has been found in serious violations of Punjab Development of Cities Act, 1976 (Amended Act 2014) and Rule 2021 of Private Housing Schemes.

In addition, the RDA has also filed the first information report (FIR) against three housing schemes, Al-Khan Enclave, Faisal Hills in Taxila, and Abdullah City, Mauja Rajar, Chakri Road, Rawalpindi. Prior to these FIRs, the RDA contacted the Police Station Wahdhat Colony and Wah Cantt Taxella, stating that these schemes are carrying out illegal development activities beyond all the approved areas, and making the public to Maglad through unauthorized advertising and electricity booking and file sales.

Despite repeated notice and warnings, the Devilopers failed to follow the directions of the RDA and continued the prohibited activities. These acts come under Section 34 (1) -B of Punjab development of cities, which classify such fraud and anti -public interest action such as criminal offenses under law.

DG RDA, Kinza Murtaza has once again urged the general public to avoid investing in unauthorized and unpredited housing schemes. Citizens are advised to verify the details of the project through the RDA website or visit the RDA Business Facilitation Center (BFC), before they create any investment decan to save their hard-read money.
