Rawalpindi:
A dual murder was carried out in the Church Road area of Dhamial Police Station, where the father and son were brutally shot and killed.
According to the Rawalpindi police, shooting and dual murder took place in the Church Road Bismillah area and the victims were identified as 54 -year Mir Mir Afzal and 16 -year -Vold Janbuard.
Police said unidentified suspects entered the house and fired at home, the elder son of the deceased Amir Afzal was married, which is separated, police and forensic teams collected evidence from the spot and transferred the bodies to the hospital for postmortem.
Police officials said unknown suspects continued to talk to the victims in the house, during which they set fire and fled.
CPO Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Hamdani took notice of the incident and stopped the report of the SP president and ordered an immediate arrest of the accused.
Police said SP President Mohammad Nail Khokhar reached the spot with police personnel and monitored the investigation.
The SP president said that evidence was being collected from the spot, investigation is being done at all angles of the incident and the accused will be arrested and brought at the forefront of the law.
