Qatar on Tuesday formally bid to host the 2036 Olympics and Para Olympic Games.
Qatari officials announced that a country which adopts the game as a major pillar of the economy to reduce energy dependence is demanding hosting another global event.
Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al -Tani said that if Doha was selected to host this mega event, it would be the first country to host the Olympic Games in the Middle East and North Africa.
He said: “The dialect presented by the Qatar Olympic Committee to host the 2036 Olympic and Para Olympic Games is a new milestone in our national journey.”

Doha denied the allegations, saying only 37 deaths occurred, out of which only three workers died during work.
Sheikh Zone bin Hamda al -Thana, chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee, said: ‘We have made the game the main pillar of our national strategy. We already have 95 % sports infrastructure and a comprehensive project under which all facilities will be 100 % ready. ,
The countries are no longer obliged to declare their bid to host the Olympic Games, as 2024 games will be held in Europe (France), USA of 2028 and Australia (Brisbane) in 2032, so there is a strong possibility that 2036 Olympic will be held for the Middle East or Africa for the first time.
The selection of the hosts of 2036 will be led by the new chairman of the International Olympic Committee, Christ Coventry, who is the first woman to hold the post last month.
