Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) has completed the Quality of Service (QOS) survey for fixed-line broadband services
Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th July 2025) Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) has completed the Quality Quality of Services (QOS)) for fixed -line broadband services.
A news release stated that the survey was conducted in 22 major cities of Pakistan including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
Surveys, immersing in the second quarter of 2025, aims to evaluate the network performance (BSPS) of broadband service and ensure that users get high-quality internet services.
The results of the survey have shown that most of the BSPs are complaining with the important major achievement index (KPI), including (I) Network Availability (Local and Core), (II) nervousness, (iii) network delay (local segments) and (IV) Network Lathrisy (International section), dominating, some significant number of significant number were found in a significant number of BSP.
E. Bandwidth use, which can significantly reduce the user experience and compromise the overall quality of service during peak hours. The PTA has directed operators to take corrective measures and improve their network’s CuOS.
