Police arrested 4,495 people for violation of a ban on kite-up

Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th July 2025) Punjab Police has dropped 4,495 persons in the provision so far this year to violate the Anti -Cait Flying Act.

A total of 4,521 cases have been registered, and 3,985 challenges have been submitted to the courts. For official figures, the police have seized 481,460 kites and 18,453 spools during operation. IG Punjab has ordered strict enforcement of AMEDED law, warning that the violation will not be tolerated.
